Self Defence Apple iPhone 5 Accessories Auckland unlock repair 095515344
College campus grub often needs a little extra zing, and Spraytect ($40), the pepper spray-loaded iPhone case, delivers that necessary flavor in abundance. In fact, it packs so much great concentrated pepper taste in each tiny canister, that were you to spray the contents in someone’s eyes instead of say, on the meatloaf, that person would more than likely resort to yelling naughty words. While it may not pack the zapping power of another case/weapon, this device stops bad guys and spices up home fries.
If you iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 had sustain damage like cracked screen or back plate is damage, come to us for repair!

Tecnology News 2013 What to Expect from Apple in 2013 iPhone 5 Repair and Unlocking
Unlike like the previous couple of years which were filled with dreams of tear-dropped iPhones, the start of 2013 has been pretty quiet for the normally busy Apple rumor mill. The end of 2012 put an end to some the biggest Apple rumors with the launch of the iPad 4, the iPad mini, and the long awaited iPhone 5. This is also why Wall Street is predicting a slow start to the new year for Apple, and why AAPL is down even after the company recently announced a record $54.5 billion in revenue.
Apple CEO Tim Cook promised iOS fans some "amazing new products" in the companys quarterly earnings press release released yesterday. Heres what the rumor mill thinks they will be.
iPhone 5S:
Some analysts are promising a 2013 summer release for the iPhone 5S. Apple isnt expected to make any changes to the iPhones form factor like it did with the iPhone 5, but purported photos of leaked iPhone 5S parts show minor changes to the aluminum chassis. It is also rumored that Apple will offer the iPhone in an iPod touch-like array of colors, and introduce a Home button fingerprint sensor system.
Its unclear if the iPhone 5S is Apples rumored $99 to $149 “entry-level” iPhone, or the follow-up to the iPhone 5.
The "low-cost iPhone" is rumored to feature a 5-inch display and a new exterior design. Its also expected to feature components from older models and a plastic/metal chassis to help keep the cost down. The low-cost iPhone has also been dubbed the "iPhone mini" by some.
iPhone Math:
I hope the "iPhone Math rumor never dies. Its just too hilarious. Even if Apple had considered calling one of their phones "Math," theyve probably changed their minds after all the backlash the name has received. The iPhone Math rumor was started by a poorly translated Chinese news report. The original rumor suggested Apple is planning to release three new handsets in 2013: The iPhone 5S with 4-inch display and 8MP camera, the iPhone Math with 4.8-inch display and 8MP camera, and an unnamed device with a 12MP camera.
iPad mini 2:
The new iPad mini is expected to feature a 7.9-inch Retina display and updated hardware, but thats about it. Its unknown whether or not Apple will continue selling the original iPad mini at a reduced price, or discontinue it altogether.
iPad 5:
iPad 5 rumors havent been all that exciting either. There have been reports of a March 2013 release along with Apples newest mobile operating system iOS 7. It has also been rumored that the new iPad will be significantly lighter and slimmer and feature Apples new A7 processor. Lighter and slimmer makes sense since most devices seem to be headed in that direction. Unless youre Microsoft, who is preparing to release a 2 lb, $900 tablet on February 9th.

The New Record for The Fattest Man In The World Is at 812 Pounds
We all like to indulge ourselves in a few edible treats now and then, but some people take it to the extreme! Let’s have a look at the world’s fattest man in 2012, but also a top of some of the fattest people in the world, who held the record before Keith Martin came to tip the scales.www.VyperLook.com" />
Right now, the world’s fattest man is named Keith Martin and he weighs 812 pounds (58-stone). How did he go from being a normal, thin person to the fattest man in the world? Let’s find out.
www.VyperLook.com" />
Keith Martin is about to be a record holder, without even having to lift a finger. The 42-year-old man from London would rather he didn’t have this “honor” of being the the fattest person on the planet, but sadly his weight has reached an astonishing 812 pounds. What did he do to end-up like this? Well the answer is very easy: he ate… a lot, and then ate some more.
A typical day for Keith involves laying in bed (due to his approximately 6 feet frame, he can’t get out of bed), and eating a lot. And by a lot we mean: eight hot dogs for breakfast, a variety of chocolate bars, cakes and biscuits for lunch, and 16 sausages plus a large bag of chips for dinner (wow, that salad I skipped at lunch seems really appealing now).
But Keith wasn’t always like this. When he was young he had a normal figure. His problems started when he was 16 years old. That’s the time his mother died, and since then, he hasn’t card about how he looks.
“My mother died when I was 16 and I didn’t care about anything after that and I couldn’t care less about what happened to me – I ate anything and everything” - said Keith in a recent interview.
But, as you can imagine, there’s more than just one downside to being the world’s fattest man, not only is he a burden for his two sisters, with whom he shares the house, but also for the British state. Caring for Keith Martin requires 18 caretakers which help him stay alive. daily, he is tended by seven carers who help keep him clean. They work in shifts, while washing and cleaning the humongous body. Additionally, two nurses come by every two days and tend to Keith’s bed sores, and help prevent them from getting infected.
www.VyperLook.com" />
Luckily, Keith has seen the light at the end of the tunnel, and took the news that as of 2012, he is the fattest man in the world, as a wake-up call which determined him to start turning his life around and try to regain his normal figure. He has reduced his diet to just four slices of bread, occasionally topped with spam or a can of mini-hotdogs, and one ready meal a day. In order for him to get a gastric bypass, doctors required that he slims down to half his actual size. Hopefully he’ll shake this record, and pretty soon, it will all be just a bad memory.

Hugo Ortega to help out at CeBit Australia
It seems that Hugo Ortega and Superna Systems are going to be working more closely. The recent success of my last videocast really caught their attention; subsequently Superna have asked me to help out on the G Innovations stand at the CeBit Australia Expo.
G Innovations is in charge of Distributing the range of Superna Controllers and Touch Panel screens. They have close affiliation with the Superna boys and are putting together a home automation extravaganza for all to see. This will include a 42" Plasma, Sahara Slate PC and more. Since Tegatech Australia supplied Tablet PCs for the G Innovations stand (U45) it seems logical for me to hang around and lend a hand...NP! Oh! And the only Ultra Mobile PC in the Southern Hemisphere (for general public viewing) will be at this stand...
Register to attend CeBit
- If youre around the halls of Darling Harbour, Sydney, on the 9th, 10th and 11th of this Month (May 2006) then pop in and see me, Ill have oodles of Tablets and Gadgets to boot!!!

Another Fujitsu P1510 in Australia

Today Tegatech Australia has continued to grow their new partnership with Fujitsu PC Australia; this time with the delivery of a Fujitsu P1510 to another Aussie Tech devotee (Haling out of Queensland). It seems that the market is not only preparing to grasp the concept of Tablet PC but is slowly creeping closer to the reality that is true mobility.
For those of you that have not entertained the thought of becoming mobile via P1510 styled device you surely are missing out. Not only does it sport all the appealing features of Microsofts Origami inspired PCs but it also seems to tick a lot of other boxes too. With the manufacture process somewhat refined via a Japanese Head Office (as opposed to some of the Taiwanese/Chinese contenders) the P1510 also has the ability to remain: on the for long enough to be called "possible," its light enough to be called "mobile" and featured enough to almost be dubbed "productive" too.
Later this year the P1510 will ship with a PCMCIA slot and inbuilt 3G too. With the extended battery, and the fact that it sports a keyboard too, the Fujitsu P1510 is closer to the Origami dream than the Origami devices themselves! Go figure???
The only “big” concern I have with this device is the RAM. Because it runs a mini-ram comprised of 400MHz So-DIMM that is not only, as the name describes, small, it also is very expensive. A 1GB upgrade will cost an Aussie customer over $1,000 AUD so the sting is very great!
Either way this customer didn’t care – RAM upgrade, charger and extended battery all in the box (albeit some of it on back order…LOL)!
TEGA Tablet PC reviewed ahead of its release
Review:

You may know Tegatech as the key distributor and seller of UMPCs and ruggedised tablet PCs to list a few of their niche products. And you may know them from previous reviews weve done, like the MediSlate and the Ruvo Avox.
This time Tegatech has used their expertise to develop their own device. It is a 10.2" Tablet PC with built-in 3G modem and they are calling it TEGA.
They worked with the Chinese manufacturer K.R.T. to develop an Australianised Tablet PC by adapting firmware and the touchscreen to suit our climate.

Surface Wave Touch Technology might be next
So with the future in mind and the past behind us I thought I’d take moment to put some of the available technologies into perspective. Hope you enjoy it. Oh, and if you know of any cool technologies that "might" be the next big thing make sure you let me know so I can get my hands on it for you.
If youre interested in this technology make sure you look at this comparision chart. What is uberly interesting is that while Surface Wave Technology is robust, and excellent with finger, it actually cannot function with a pen or pointing device! [But its so nice to touch.] Sounds like a combination Touch/Active Digitzer receives yet another vote of confidence for my next UMPC?

Update from my Visit to Microsoft in Redmond
I’ve met with several groups of friends and geeks that mean the world to me. It’s funny as I found out I was geek in the 90’s (“came out”) and since then my life has never been the same. The conversations, the jokes and the buzz we get from IT is something unique and being part of that experience on the Microsoft Campus makes it even more special.

The last few days has been consumed with meetings relating to my core-competencies, i.e. Tablet PC & Touch. The highlight however for me so far has been my time with the Surface Team. While I can’t share with you "what" we have spoke about (due to all the NDAs I signed to sit in the campus) I can share a photo and link you to Xavier’s video he posted of our time there. If you read French then also visit Stéphanes blog for details on Surface.
As you can see from the photo the key feature of Surface is its Multi-User support, a key distinction between Multi-Touch which can be accomplished at a fraction of the cost. When you keep in mind it is multi-User (in fact we got past 60 input points received on the Table that day) then you can imagine the benefits of this over a traditional Mutli-Touch device. If you want to know more about Surface let me know as I can get you as much information as you like. Here is the video we shot on the day showcasing some of the "cool" bits and highlighting just some of what can be achieved with Surface. Given its been launched in Australia you are going to be hearing a lot more from me about this!

Hugo Ortega opens Tablet talks with Lenovo
In a highly anticipated announcement IBM confirmed the sale of its PC division to Chinas Lenovo Group, 8th of Decmeber 2004; a proclamation that also saw IBM take 18.9 percent equity stake in Lenovo. With this in mind it came at no surprise that Lenovo has kept the build-quality that we’ve all come to expect from brands like “Thinkpad” and Thinkcentre”. What I didn’t expect, and was pleasantly surprised by, was their newly found commitment to making the Lenovo a brand that aspired to IBM greatness, but now fully intended to surpass it.
Let’s start from the top: “I Hugo Ortega (nicknamed Poogie) predominantly focus on growing Tablet PC awareness in Australia”. The way I accomplish this is by strategically and sometimes coincidentally making myself available to masses of listeners willing to listen to the merits of Tablet. I’m really not prejudice, I’ll preach to Microsoft Employees, I’ll make interstate visits to hand deliver a Tablet, or even prophesize to mums and dads while waiting for my son after school. Tablet PC isn’t a way of conducting oneself on the road, to me it’s a commitment to progression. If this technology is allowed to go to the dogs, then it’s only time before the brakes are pulled on more and more projects that should be destined for greatness.
Along my travels I have built congruent partnerships that support my commitment, and conversely show passion for what I do. It was Lenovo that came into my life in December 2005 when I became a Lenovo Business Partner. Admittedly I signed up to gain leverage from current Lenovo programs but I’ve since realised that I’m dealing with a Group that is more proficient than that. It was my initial contact with Merrin Palmer, Lenovo Channels & SMB Marketing Manager, that lead me to realise just how proactive this company truly is. Imagine this, every email I sent swiftly received a reply – obviously it sounds ludicrous to mention this as a point of difference from other companies, but sadly it’s true.

As we parted our ways both Greg and I knew that our paths would cross again. We’d tentatively mapped out some strategy and eagerly brainstormed new marketing techniques for Lenovo, and most excitingly Tablet PC as a whole.
Watch this space!
- Do you own a Lenovo notebook?
- In your opinion does Lenovo still carry on the IBM legacy?

Blogger Brunch and 3x UMPC

I woke up and followed the normal routine of feeding my son, dressing my son, and driving him to school. On this occasion however we were joined by longtime friend and fellow blogger, Dr. Neil Roodyn.
For those of you that haven’t seen Dr.Neil interact with kids you would totally crack up. He fires off random intellectualized questions at the little monsters to test their IQ and mental stamina. My son, Leon, now on Level 22 reading (while all his kindergarten mates are on level 3 or 4), absolutely loves Neil and enjoys the morning spar; he sure gives Neil bang for buck. The reason Neil was at my place so early (and as opposed to our normal outings) was this morning’s Bloggers Brunch. This morning we had been
Obviously the room was buzzing and full of opinionated folks. There were beef burgers; sandwiches, banana bread and all the coffee you could fit in (just ask Uber.Legend Michael Kleef who had two coffees before I finished one). All-in-all the boys and girls really behaved well and delighted themselves by jousting and probing some of Microsofts classier comrades.
Dr. Neil Roodyn (Contractor Extraordinaire) and John Hodgson (Microsoft)
Had you of been invited you would have heard and seen some wonderful displays of bravery that were sometimes shot down just as quickly. Even John Hodgson of Microsoft managed to leak some confidential information regarding an upcoming announcement about Windows Live XXXXX. [I wont be the one to cause Johns Donald Trump-like "youre fired" so if Frank wants to jump onto the blog and repeat what was said then I’ll let that be ok with that. Frank???
Overall it was a fantastic meeting and worth being part of. I’ve definitely put my hand up for the next Bloggers Brunch! Because a fellow attendee, and blogger, has already posted a blogroll of the morning I wont need to. (Please identify yourself as I cannot work out which on you were – plus I think you and I need to talk)
Straight after the meeting Frank left to his first (of many) talks he’ll be running at Tech.Ed, this time with fellow Aussie Blogger, and mate, Long Zheng. Long and I have pinged each other for a while and I actually sold him his first Tablet PC a while back. Frank was pumped about Long being on stage as his readership is so good in the blogosphere. Good job Long! The irony is that at the Bloggers Brunch was another Mate/Blogger that I too sold a Tablet PC to, the cool Mitch Denny.

All about windows phone apps part 4
Back to the matter of software , which I found , and a deficiency in the operating system itself , and has become a standard on other operating systems are : ( tested on the Lumia 720 )
1 . Windows phone apps, There is no built -in file manager . For example, we put an extra memory card , then we only rely on specific applications to access it . For example , music and video player applications instantly know if the SD - Card which we attach no music files or videos , but we are not able to browse directly on the SD Card . There are apps to do this , the File Viewer SD Kirik , but it turns out its not flexible in addition to recognizing only certain file types , and we have to pay again for the full version .
2 . Windows phone apps, There is no task killer . IOS -based devices that we just press the physical button twice there and we could turn off the one currently active application . On Android , you can install the app to turn off tasks that are working in the background . But this does not exist in Windows Phone apps. This feature is important to have because of the applications running in the background will push the battery to be quickly depleted . The trick is to hit the back button a few times to the home screen or by setting individual applications to be ter - block when it is in the background . Either way, it is clearly inefficient .
To be continued
